Welcome to my self portraits journal. My name is Nicole and I'm 20 years old. I've been taking pictures ever since my parents bought me a purple coloured film point and shoot when I was around 10 years old. I took two photography classes in highschool and plan on majoring in photography when I get into college. It's one of the few things I'm passionate about. I'm currently shooting with an EOS Cannon Rebel K2. I have a CanonT70, which I prefer over the Rebel, but it's broken and I can't afford to have it fixed right now. For digital images I'm shooting with a Kodak Easyshare ZD710. I got it for Christmas because it was half-price but I really hate it. I don't like it at all, and I would not recommend this camera to anyone planning to use it for photography and not just family snapshots. Since I don't have access to a darkroom, I get my film developed at Wal-Mart and have the negatives transfered to a CD. For editing I use Adobe Photoshop 7 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0

This journal is where I post all of my self portraits, including the ones I take for the 365 Days challenge. All entries will be tagged. Numbered entries will be posts with the one self portrait that I'm submitting for the 365 Days challenge. I will post other entries with self portraits that I've decided not to use as my portrait for the day. I hope this is making sense. Anyone is welcome to add me to their friends list, just leave me a comment to let me know and I'll add you right back. I try to reply to all my comments, it means so much to me that someone would take the time to look at my photos and comment, and I really do appreciate it; I feel the least I can do is reply with a thankyou. :)

BY THE WAY: If you see entries missing, or "skipped days" when you scroll through the entries on my main page, it's because you aren't under the "nude/risque" filter. If you'd like to be added, please leave a comment on one of the entries. My "risque" photos are clothed but suggestive, and my "nude" photos are nude and tasteful. There IS a difference. You will never see a "porn shot" so don't even try. Don't be upset if I don't add you right away. If I decide to add you to the filter, I'll comment back letting you know. If I don't comment back, that means I'm not comfortable adding you. It doesn't mean I never will, I'd just prefer to get to know you better before letting you in. This is the first time I've ever done a project like this and it's the first time I've ever taken nude photos that aren't for my boyfriends/girlfriends. I'm still a little shy. Be patient. :)
